Dr Justin Sherwin is an ophthalmologist and health leader committed to accessible, person-centred care for people who are blind or have low vision. His clinical and academic background informs a strong understanding of barriers to care and the system-level changes needed to improve outcomes. He is Director of Peninsula Eye Centre, Vice President of the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists, and a Visiting Professor of Ophthalmology, with a focus on advocacy, policy and access to high-quality eye care. At Vision Australia, he is the ophthalmologist for the Kooyong clinic and contributes across both clinical and governance domains to support improved outcomes for the community.
